"Just Maybe You Should Know"
A MEMORIAL POEM for our dearly departed
Just maybe you should know
We'll never be apart
For together we built memories
And took pictures with our hearts
Just maybe there was a reason
And you need not question why
For I kept God's will on earth
As it is in heaven's perfect sky
Just maybe you'll feel my warmth
Like sunlight on a sea
Or you'll hear my voice calling
Through a sprightly brisk March breeze
While earthly seasons will come and go
Mirroring life though evermore
It was my time to take God's gift
And fly to the other shore
I'm now a living memory
So maybe you should know
I'll always be that sparkle
and the rainbow in your snow
So while the world spins all its dawns
With its hushed and silent nights
My gentle spirit will guide you
And make sure that you're alright
So hold on strong to my love
For in you, I will always be
I gave you many treasures
A memory for you and me
Just maybe I became a star
And for you I'll shine my light
Just maybe people need to know
God's timing is always right
